August 26, 1931 - February 4, 2012 Resided in Clifton, NJ
Amos A. Kaune, 80, of Clifton, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2012.
Born in Passaic, Mr. Kaune resided in Clifton for many years. He was the proprietor of the Clifton Tap Room in Clifton, Gulliver's in West Paterson, Kid McCoy's in Clifton and Gulliver's in Lincoln Park. Mr. Kaune was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R.C. Church, Passaic where he served as a Trustee. He was also a member of the NJ Jazz Society. He was predeceased by one brother, Gerald F. Kaune. Survivors include: his wife, the former, Patricia A. Kane; a brother, James V. Kaune and his wife, Nancy of Bedminster, NJ; three nieces, Tara L. Head of Hanson, MA, Lisa Marie Kaune, of Bedminster, NJ and Patricia A. O'Dea, of Alpharetta, GA; one nephew, Norman Sergeant of Wayne, NJ; and a great-nephew, Brendan S. O'Dea. Funeral services will be Thursday 9:15 am from the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Ave., Clifton and 10:00 am at Holy Trinity R.C. Church, cor. of Harrison St. and Hope Ave., Passaic. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Visiting will be held on Wednesday from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of New Jersey, 400 Broadacres Drive, Bloomfield, NJ 07003.
