Obituary

MINKOVICH – Mary (nee Zak), 86, of Garfield, died April, 28, 2008. Born in Garfield, Mrs. Minkovich lived most of her life in Garfield. She had retired from the Popular Club Plan in Passaic in 1993 after many years of service. She was a life-long parishioner of Ss. Peter & Paul R.O. Cathedral in Passaic and a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Garfield.
She was the devoted wife of the late Emil Minkovich; loving mother of Rt. Rev. Emil Minkovich and his wife, Natalie of Elizabeth; devoted mother of Alexandra and Christina Minkovich; dear sister of the late Helen Jaskot, the late Michael Zak, the late Peter Zak, Jr.; and stepsister of the late John Jupin and Mary Van Handel of Las Vegas, NV.
Funeral services will be Friday 11:00 am from the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Ave., Clifton and 11:45 at Ss. Peter & Paul R.O. Cathedral, Passaic. Interment to follow at Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Saddle Brook. Visiting will be Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Parastas Thursday 7:30 pm.
